Courtney has represented aviation product manufacturers in litigation in federal and state courts throughout California and the United States. She has defended these clients in complex, multi-district, major airline disaster litigation and general aviation accident cases involving Death on the High Seas Act, General Aviation Revitalization Act, Government Contractor Defense, and the Montreal Convention. Courtney’s experience includes defense of aviation clients who provide passenger and airline services as well as ground handling services at airports throughout the United States in litigation involving claims of negligence, strict liability and property damage. Courtney has also authored several articles including on such topics as the General Aviation Revitalization Act. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
