Sharix is an Associate in the New York Office. Her admission to the bar is pending in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Her work focuses on handling general and commercial aviation matters throughout the country, including the representation of manufacturers, airport service providers, and insurers in complex personal injury claims, mass tort litigation, and commercial disputes.
Sharix focuses on creating interdisciplinary solutions to common legal problems. For example, she created a regression model to predict litigation risk and examined the impact of blockchain on the law and insurance.
Sharix is a 2016 graduate of Binghamton University. She earned her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and the University of Connecticut School of Business in May of 2019. As a student, Sharix served as the Symposium & Write-On Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. She also served as the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and the President of the Latinx Law Students Association. Recently, Sharix was a fellow with the KIPP Accelerator Program and the Aspen Ideas Festival.
